Mindgrub contracted by Williams Whittle Digital to develop ‘Slapstick’ for Washington Capitals.
April 23rd, 2010
Mindgrub was contracted in early 2010 to develop the online fan application for the Washington Capitals which was launched in mid April during the 2010 playoff season.
The application called Slapstick allows fans to create rants by uploading their photos and voices to a Capitals player or coach’s body; In addition fans can then share rants through email and social media outlets such as Facebook and Twitter.
Mindgrub developed the application through the use of Flash/Flex for a rich end user experience and Drupal for back end content management.
