LAMP/PHP/Drupal Developers

Mindgrub is currently seeking a Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP/Drupal developers to support multiple client projects. Candidates must have CS degree or currently working to fulfill CS degree. 2-5 years experience working with PHP 5 a plus. Web Developer Intern

Mindgrub is looking for a Web Developer Intern for the Fall 2014 term. Candidates must be working towards a Computer Science degree, preferably with no more than 3 semesters until graduation.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Ability to accept constructive criticism and supervisor standards
  • Incorporate criticism and standards into product
  • Set up a Drupal site from scratch
  • Able to install community modules and configure settings
  • Familiar with entities and fields as well as major community modules (Views, WYSIWYG, Backup/Migrate, etc.)
  • Basic theming structure and modifying existing themes

IA/UX Intern

Come join Mindgrub in an exciting internship opportunity where you'll get your hands dirty building mobile, web and social apps. Our UX/IA department works closely with our clients to clearly define the problem they want solved, perform any additional research needed, and then create a vision of what the solution looks like. We're looking for someone who has a solid visual design or HCI background plus amazing critical thinking and people skills. 

Potential work you would be doing:

  • Sketching and wireframing user interfaces

Mindgrub is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team! Candidates must have at least 3 to 5 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree. Experience with Agile Project Methodology and agency experience is a must.  PMP Certification is desired but not required.  Some responsibilities and duties for this positions are as follows:

Technical Production Manager

Requirements:

  • Will work closely with application product owners, project / account managers, and developers. Occasional client interface required.
  • Will promote the advancement and adoption of Agile methodology best practice methods, tools and documentation deliverables.
  • Will contribute to sprint planning, assist team with making appropriate commitments with task definition and levels of effort, and drive daily scrums, daily progress tracking, release planning, resource acquisition, assignments, and work load management.
  • Will identify, manage, and escalate delivery issues and risks.  Prevent and/or remove impediments and distractions that interfere with the ability of the development team to deliver the sprint goal.
  • Will work with project / account managers to perform Change Management according to best practice guidelines.
  • Will be proficient in the use of MSOffice Suite including MSProject.  Experience with a variety of project tracking tools highly encouraged.

Qualifications:

3-5 years of experience driving Agile Scrum application development teams of 4 or more staff for software application products.

1-2 years of experience managing development and deployment of PHP web applications is a plus.
