LAMP/PHP/Drupal Developers

Mindgrub is currently seeking a Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP/Drupal developers to support multiple client projects. Candidates must have CS degree or currently working to fulfill CS degree. 2-5 years experience working with PHP 5 a plus. Must have strong skill set of systems and scripting languages, familiarity with CMS’s, Web development (PHP, HTML, CSS, XML) and SQL Databases. Web Developer Intern

Mindgrub is looking for a Web Developer Intern for the Fall 2014 term. Candidates must be working towards a Computer Science degree, preferably with no more than 3 semesters until graduation.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Ability to accept constructive criticism and supervisor standards
  • Incorporate criticism and standards into product
  • Set up a Drupal site from scratch
  • Able to install community modules and configure settings
  • Familiar with entities and fields as well as major community modules (Views, WYSIWYG, Backup/Migrate, etc.)
  • Basic theming structure and modifying existing themes
     

Qualifications

Quality Assurance Tester

Mindgrub is seeking a Quality Assurance Tester to test software to ensure that new functionality is correctly implemented, known bugs are fixed and weaknesses in the application are addressed.  The Quality Assurance Tester would also continually work with the team to help research and develop new tools and methods to improve testing quality over time.  Quality Assurance Testers candidates should possess at least 3 years of QA experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills, critical thinking and problem solving skills, and planning, organizing and time management skills. The candidate should also be able to pay attention to details and have great team and interpersonal skills.

Some duties of this position include, but are not limited to: 

•Conduct software compatibility tests with programs, hardware, operating systems or network environments

•Design test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures

•Document detailed software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers

•Monitor bug resolution efforts and tract progress

•Identify, analyze and document problems with program function, output, online screen or content

•Document errors with screenshots, web recordings, or whatever visual aids necessary to fully capture the messaging provided in error messages

•Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality

•Prepare and complete test suites

•Identify and resolve problems that arise during testing of the applications

•Evaluate and improve QA tools and processes

•Develop and design automated testing tools

•Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates

•Mentor other testers

•Review project plans

•Achieve quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews

•Maintain and improve product quality by completing product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits
