Mindgrub recently won a contact with Voice of America, a multimedia international broadcasting service. VOA is funded by the U.S. Government through the Broadcasting Board of Governors and broadcasts approximately 1,500 hours of news, information, educational, and cultural programming every week to an estimated worldwide audience of 125 million people. The contract will focus on Development and Creative Services including mobile and social media development.

Mindgrub Technologies has been featured by BmoreMedia.com as an emerging technology company in the Baltimore tech scene. Bmore, an up and coming online magazine, interviewed our own President & CEO Todd Marks for a background on the company. They spotlight how he has been growing Mindgrub over the last 8 years and why its position on mobile development is so successful.

At 4pm on Thursday, August 27, Mindgrub's VP of Operations Vince Buscemi will be the guest speaker on Blue Sky Factory's TV show, which brings its viewers "the latest online marketing tips and trends." Don't forget to tune in and hear about the iPhone app we're building for Blue Sky Factory and more!

Due to creative demand, Mindgrub hires long-time contractor Shervonne Cherry as their in-house Creative Director.

Mindgrub founder Todd Marks is attending PowerSchool University’s Orlando Conference so that Mindgrub can utilize PowerSchool’s data infrastructure and seamlessly integrate a school’s data with Edualizer.

Amongst D.C.’s National Educators Computing Conference’s (NECC) record-breaking 18,000 attendees was Mindgrub’s VP of Operations, Vince Buscemi, who shared a partner booth with Mario Armstrong Media to help promote the company’s STEM-centric website for teens, TechTechBoom. Mindgrub, the consultancy that developed TechTechBoom, was also there promoting LBS product viaPlace for use within education, and Edualizer, their performance visualization product.

In an effort to keep up with iPhone application development demand, Mindgrub hires two part-time developers to work in the iPhone department, headed by Patrick Zearfoss.

Join us this Thursday at the Baltimore / Washington Tech Meetup where we are hosting a Release Party for 600block.com, who just launched their very own iPhone app last week! The co-founders of 600block, Tom Poe and Patti Chan, are our special guest speakers and will kick off the meeting by discussing the website and their motivation for creating it. A demonstration of the iPhone app will be given by Mindgrub Technologies, who developed it using their location-based services product, viaPlace.

This will be a special event as 600block will be expanding to include Ellicott City (the first location outside of Baltimore), and the BWTechMeetup group will have its first ever bar crawl to help fill each location with their very first reviews. We encourage all iPhone users to download 600block from the app store if you haven't already, and see what great deals and specials are available around you in the Baltimore area based on your location.

Mindgrub created a lot of buzz about their current projects, including the development of 600block's iPhone app, as they poured wine for over 120 attendees and sponsors on June 11. Mario Armstrong was there to introduce his newest project - BWTechShow - which Mindgrub also has its hands in.
