Mindgrub Technologies LLC was founded in 2002 by a former High School Math and Computer Science teacher turned technologist during the height of the dot com boom. Mindgrub fuses technology with a training development process to create rich applications that focus on the end user experience. Our consultants are recognized developers, speakers and authors who recommend or develop the best solutions for your unique requirements.

Todd Marks
President & CEO |
Todd Marks is an information architect and user experience specialist, focusing on the design and development of cutting edge information display systems. Todd is the founder and President of Mindgrub Technologies, www.mindgrub.com, and co-founder of viaPlace, www.viaplace.com, a location based services and mobile social networking framework.
In 2000 Todd moved from teaching Mathematics and Computer Science in the public sector to Vice President of Research & Development at Digital Organism. In 2003 Todd worked as a Program Manager for mediaEdge where he helped grow their training division. In 2005 Todd co-founded the location based services company Spencer & Marks and established the first geospatial experience registry, viaPlace.com. In 2006 Todd worked as a Senior Consultant for NYC based Roundarch Inc. where he designed and developed leading Rich Internet Applications. Todd also works for the University of Maryland and Future Media Concepts as an Instructional Technology Adj. Professor and Adobe Certified Trainer.
Todd is currently growing Mindgrub Technologies, Edualizer, speaking, and instructing. Todd's efforts have garnished several awards including a 'Best of Baltimore' ADDY Award, Macromedia Shocked Site of the Day, 3rd Place in Plumtree's Fast Forward Portal Award competition, and a 1st Place at DCI's Portal Excellence Awards Competition for Best Content Management System. Todd is an Adobe Certified Developer, Designer, and Subject Matter Expert, has spoken at several conferences, been featured in several technical magazines and has written or been a contributing author for a number of books including Flash MX Video, Beginning Dreamweaver MX, Flash Magic, New Masters of Flash and Web Design in a Nutshell.

Vince Buscemi
VP of Operations & Project Manager |
Vince Buscemi is VP of Operations and Project Manager for Mindgrub Technologies. He also acts as a Technical Writer and Front-end developer with several years of development experience in web applications and managing custom application development projects. A proven leader with excellent communication skills and an innate ability to understand big picture problems while providing the direction needed to effectively approach challenges with professionalism.
Vince spearheaded the initiative to have Mindgrub Technologies become one of the only official Adobe Partners in the Mid-Atlantic region offering design, development, and consulting services in Flash, Flex, and AIR, in addition to other Adobe proprietary software. He aided in the acquisition of viaPlace and acts as the company’s VP of Operations. Through Vince’s involvement with viaPlace, he has had the opportunity to engage local and national communities in the facilitation of Location Based Experiences through the creation of iPhone applications and other various clients.
Recently, Vince has been asked to share his knowledge in his areas of expertise at various speaking engagements, including the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) 2009 Conference, Refresh Baltimore and the Baltimore Washington Tech Meetup.
