Matt has been a huge fan of the digital culture going back to the mid 90’s when he built his first fan website for Final Fantasy III. Since then he’s studied for his CCNA (Cisco Certfied Network Associate), taught himself a lot about programming and eventually graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in Organizational Communications – because he was more interested in how the Internet is going to restructure society than tinkering with restructuring computers.
Since graduation from Northeastern, he’s sold computer hardware, developed the digital content strategy for The Jewish Times and helped build awesome websites for Mucinex, Chase, and Sprint.
Matt is an organizer of the Baltimore Node Hackerspace, Betascape and the Baltimore Hackathon. He also likes to play around with Arduinos, Processing and other physical contraptions that are hooked up to a computer.
As Mindgrub’s User Experience Architect, Matt helps clients hone their ideas and explore solutions to their most creative challenges. He oversees all aspects of a project’s user experience and ensures industry best practices are consistently incorporated.
