Patrick Zearfoss is a leading architect for mobile projects and regularly teaches both Music and Technology. Zearfoss graduated with a Computer Science Degree from the University of Maryland (UMBC) and has become one of the nation’s leading Mobile Application Architects, working with iPhone, iPad, Android and Symbian systems.
Zearfoss has led several mobile application projects including the University of Maryland’s UMBC app, iVisit Mobile for Sonoma County California, and Forbes Investment Guide Plus. Zearfoss is the lead Architect for Mindgrub’s location-based services and augmented reality framework viaPlace, licensed by Johns Hopkins University, 600Block and Yamaha to name a few.
Zearfoss has led teams working on International mobile applications for China, Iran and Russia through the Voice of America (VOA). Currently, he leads the product development for viaPlace, providing mentorship and quality control for Mindgrub’s mobile developers and interns.
