Todd Marks Gives Keynote at ASCP SenioRx17 Conference

On November 4, 2017, Todd Marks gave the keynote at American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP) SenioRx17 Conference in Kissimmee, Florida. ASCP empowers pharmacists to enhance quality of care for older persons through the appropriate use of medication and the promotion of healthy aging.

Todd’s presentation on “The Evolution of Telemedicine & Tech Advances You Can Harness Today” covered the idea behind the “virtual visit” and how it has evolved. Demonstrations were given on how to leverage new technologies, like virtual reality, in healthcare in order to improve efficiencies and accessibility for consultant pharmacists. A comprehensive review of the latest tech, including drones & 3D printed medicine, and their implications for healthcare were also focal points of Todd’s message to the pharmacist audience.

If you missed the conference, check out some of the highlights.

Next year’s ASCP conference will be held in Maryland! Save the dates now for November 1 - 4, 2018. We hope to see you there.
