Todd Marks Named Most Admired CEO

Baltimore, MD | The Daily Record named Todd Marks, CEO, and Founder of Mindgrub Technologies, to their list of Most Admired CEOs again this year, placing him in the Circle of Leadership as a three-time winner. Marks joins Timothy J. Adams the CEO of Systems Application & Technologies Inc. and Bryn Parchman the CEO of Port Discovery Children’s Museum as this year’s inductees.

The Most Admired CEOs awards program—presented by The Daily Record—recognizes talented CEOs and executive directors throughout Maryland whose leadership and vision inspire those around them. An outside panel of judges selected the winners based on professional accomplishments, community service, and letters of reference submitted by co-workers, board members, and community leaders showing the CEO's leadership and vision.

“It should be the Most Admired Team award because I wouldn’t be where I am without my amazing team,” says Todd Marks. “A great leader knows that to be the best, you have to have the best behind you, and that’s what I’ve got.”

Marks serves as Mindgrub Technologies’ Chief Everything Officer. He leads a team of strategists, information architects, user experience specialists, creative interface designers, digital marketing experts, and software developers to solve business challenges in the areas of mobile and web application development, digital and traditional marketing, virtual and augmented reality, enterprise information systems, and more.

Driven by his passion for the advancement of tech innovation and digital equality in Baltimore, Marks also serves as the chair of the Maryland Tech Council and has provided strategic direction for many public/private initiatives. He also ensures that his company is reflective of his values, especially those that relate to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

"The 2021 Most Admired CEOs have earned the respect and admiration of those around them because they make a positive impact on the lives of others, both professionally and by volunteering in the community. They are role models to be emulated, and they continue to give back by mentoring others," says Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, Senior Group Publisher of The Daily Record. "We at The Daily Record salute them for their accomplishments, passion, and creativity as well as their commitment to our state."
